Today (Mon, Oct 20, 2025) — Monday of Week 29
Readings:** Rom 4:20–25; Ps: Lk 1:69–75; Lk 12:13–21.
Abraham refuses to doubt—he’s “fully convinced” God can do what He promised. The Benedictus proclaims a God who visits, saves, and frees. Jesus warns against hoarding: the rich fool builds bigger barns but loses sight of his soul. Purpose-Driven takeaway: Faith isn’t vague optimism; it’s staking today’s choices on God’s character. My purpose is not to store more but to serve more. Ask: What “barn” am I building—ego, grades, gear, followers? Trade accumulation for assignment: bless one person, share one resource, start one obedient step. Travel light so you can move fast when God opens doors. Prayer: Lord, shift me from scarcity to stewardship. Make my goals tools, not gods. Help me act on Your promise today—encourage someone, give something away, and trust You to provide the rest.
